Automated Email Templates, Based on Applicant Status

View Video To keep applicants automatically moving through the hiring or contracting process, FastRecruiting features robust automated email templates that send emails to Applicants or Employees based upon their Status within the system. As the applicant moves through the process of being hired or contracted, they automatically change Status, which can trigger an email based on your email template admin panel. Within the system, you are able to custom name your Applicants Status’s or Stages in your admin panel. Here is an automated email template. You can pick from any of your custom statuses we just discussed to trigger the email, or pick no trigger and it becomes a manually sent email template. This specific email template is made to alert an applicant that they have an incomplete application, and to give them instructions on logging in and completing any missing documents. The status chosen for this email is Awaiting Completed Application. This is a status an applicant gets to when they have not completed all required documents after a period of time. You are also able to choose from many “Variables”, which is inserted code to pull into the email data within the system. This particular template uses code to insert applicants first and last name and their user name and password to log back in and pick up where they left off.
